1. Introduction
Welcome to the ECONOMICON Congress website. By accessing or using this website and participating in the ECONOMICON Congress, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read these Terms carefully before registering for or participating in the Congress. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use this website or register for the Congress.
2. Eligibility
Participation in ECONOMICON is open to all professionals, academics, students, industry representatives, and others interested in economic sciences. Participants must register for the congress to be eligible to attend the congress.
3. Registration
To attend or participate in the Congress, participants must complete the registration form on our website (which can be accessed in the ‘Register Now’ button in the main menu) and pay the applicable fees, depending on registration specifics. Participation at the congress is confirmed once the payment is received and processed. Upon successful registration, participants will receive a confirmation email with details about the Congress, directing them to initiate the submission process, or conduct payment (depending on the registration specifics of the participant).
4. Fees and Payment
- Fee Structure: The registration fees are categorized based on participant status, days present at the congress, and period of registration. The fee structure is detailed on the Congress website, under the ‘Congress Info.’ tab, and ‘Fees & Payment’ sub-tab.
- Payment Methods: Payments can be made via credit card or bank transfer.
- Cancellation Policy: In case the Congress is canceled or postponed due to events beyond the organizers’ control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics), participants may be offered a full refund or the option to transfer their registration to a future event.
5. Submissions
- Submission Guidelines: Authors who wish to present at the Congress must submit an abstract and, if accepted, a full paper, or presentation, according to the guidelines provided under the ‘Submissions’ tab, ‘Submission Process’ sub-tab).
- Review Process: All submissions will be reviewed by the Congress’s Scientific Committee. Acceptance is based on the relevance, originality, and scientific merit of the submission.
- Publication: Accepted abstracts and full papers will be published in the Congress Book of Abstracts and the Economix – International Journal of Economic Sciences, subject to editorial approval.
6. Code of Conduct
- Professionalism: All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner. Harassment, discrimination, or any form of disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
- Compliance: Participants must adhere to all applicable laws and regulations, as well as any rules established by the Congress organizers and the venue.
- Intellectual Property: Participants must ensure that all content submitted or presented at the Congress is original or properly cited. Plagiarism or the unauthorized use of others’ work will result in disqualification and potential legal action.
7. Use of Website
The content on the ECONOMICON website is provided for general information purposes only, and we strive to keep the information up-to-date and correct.
8. Liability
- Limitation of Liability: The organizers of ECONOMICON are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the participation in the Congress or the use of this website.
- Indemnification: By participating in the Congress, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the organizers, their affiliates, partners, and sponsors from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your participation or any breach of these Terms.

- Privacy Policy: Personal data collected during registration and participation will be processed under our Privacy Policy, which is available on the Congress website. By registering, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

The organizers reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Congress website. Participants are encouraged to review the Terms periodically for updates.

These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to the Congress shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the Republic of Macedonia.
