STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE

(FOR CONGRESS PARTICIPATION)

Participants who follow the step-by-step instructions as outlined below can expect to complete their ECONOMICON participation process in under 30 Days

      BRIEF OVERVIEW

  1. Submit your Abstract to start your ECONOMICON participation process.
    – Participants who only wish to participate as Listeners-only can proceed to Congress Registration directly.
  2. Complete your Abstract Submission step and proceed to Congress Registration.
  3. Receive a Pro-Invoice according to your registration specifics and proceed to payment.
    – Payment is required to reserve a participant’s spot at the Congress, and to enable upcoming Submission Steps.
    – Participants are also encouraged to conduct their accommodation and travel plans during this period.
  4. Complete payment and proceed to your Full Paper or Presentation submission step(s).
    – These steps are meant for participants who have selected these forms of participation during Congress registration.
  5. Complete your Full Paper/Presentation submission step(s) and finish your submission process.
    – Before the start of June, participants will receive additional e-mail information on their upcoming participation.

      NOTES

  • Before starting their participation process, participants are encouraged to exlore the available “Types of Participation” on offer, view the projected “Submission Timelines” of every participation step, and familiarise themselves with every relevant “Submission” and “Registration” step in detail, to ensure every participant has a smooth submission and participation experience.

      STEPS

  1. Submit an Abstract via the Abstract Submission Form.
  2. Receive an automatic e-mail confirming the delivered Abstract.
  3. Receive an Abstract Summary Review, detailing Abstract acceptance.
  4. Conduct corrections, if required, and re-submit the corrected Abstract.
  5. Receive a confirmation e-mail of complete Abstract acceptance.
  6. Proceed to Congress Registration.

      NOTES

  • Authors are asked to use the provided guidelines and templates before Abstract Submission.

      STEPS

  1. Register for the congress by filling out and submitting the Congress Registration Form.
  2. Receive an automatic e-mail confirming Successful Congress Registration.
  3. Receive a Pro-Invoice for participation, according to your Registration Specific, and proceed to payment.
  4. Following payment, proceed with your Full Paper & Presentation Submission Step(s), if any of these options are selected as a form of participation, during Congress Registration.

      NOTES

  • Following successful payment, participants are asked to send payment confirmation to info@key.com.mk.
  • The Full Paper/Presentation process cannot be started without previously confirmed payment for participation.

      STEPS

  1. Submit a Full Paper & Cover Letter via the Full Paper Submission Form.
    – Full Papers submitted without a Cover Letter will be not accepted or published.
  2. Receive an automatic e-mail confirming the delivered Full Paper & Cover Letter.
  3. Receive a Full Paper Summary Review, detailing Full Paper acceptance.
  4. Conduct corrections, if required, and re-submit the corrected Full Paper.
  5. Receive a confirmation e-mail of complete Full Paper acceptance.
  6. Proceed to Presentation Submission (if selected as participation form during registration).

      NOTES

  • The Full Paper process cannot be started without previously confirmed payment for participation.

      STEPS

  1. Submit a Presentation via the Presentation Submission Form.
  2. Receive an automatic e-mail confirming the delivered Presentation.
  3. Receive a Presentation Overview, detailing Presentation acceptance.
  4. Conduct suggested changes (structural-only), if required, and complete Presentation acceptance.

      NOTES

  • The Presentation process cannot be started without previously confirmed payment for participation.

      PARTICIPATION COMBINATIONS

      NOTES

  • All submitted Abstracts are published in the ECONOMICON Book of Abstracts
  • All submitted Full Papers are published in the EconomixInternational Journal of Economic Sciences
    – The Journal is the official publishing platform of the Congress, indexed in numerous international databases.
  • All submitted Presentations are published in the Oral and Poster Congress Program
    – The presenters of the top 3 best evaluated posters at the Congress are awarded a special prize. 

      MOCK TIMELINE

          ABSTRACT COMPLETION: 5-10 Days 

  • Receive a Call for Abstracts: 1st of the Month
  • Submit an Abstract: 1st of the Month
  • Receive an Abstract Summary Review: 1-5th of the Month
  • Conduct Corrections & Re-submit Abstract (if required): 5-10th of the Month
  • Receive confirmation of a fully Accepted Abstract (after all corrections are made): 10th of the Month

          REGISTRATION, PAYMENT,  ACCOMMODATION & TRANSPORT: 1-14 Days

  • Register for the Congress: 10th of the Month (or alongside Abstract Submission simultaneously)
  • Conduct Payment for Participation: 11-25th of the Month (2-week window)
  • Plan & Organize personal Accommodation and Transportation: at participant’s leisure

          FULL PAPER COMPLETION: 10-20 Days

  • Submit a Full Paper: 10-15th of the Month
  • Receive a Full Paper Summary Review: 15-25th of the Month
  • Conduct Corrections & re-submit Full Paper (if required): 25-30th of the Month
  • Receive confirmation of a fully Accepted Full Paper (after all corrections are made): 30th of the Month

          PRESENTATION COMPLETION: up to the 15th of May

  • Submit your Presentation: by May 15th (or as soon as possible, following Abstract/Full Paper acceptance)
