Preparation<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Authors can choose to create their poster in free-hand design or by requesting access to the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canva.com\/design\/DAGiRJ-zT2M\/e03JsWAFFu_zNLLLzw9pYw\/edit\">Poster Template<\/a><\/strong> when creating their Poster Presentation.<br \/><strong><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">&#8212;<\/span><\/strong><\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <strong>2. Technical Guidelines<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>The Poster dimensions are: B1 (<strong>70x100cm<\/strong>)<em><br \/>&#8211; The poster does not necessarily have to fill the entire working area.<\/em><\/li><li>Poster Orientation is: <strong>Portrait<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Text and figures should be <strong>no smaller than 20 pt. <\/strong><\/li><li>Font size should be large enough to <strong>read<\/strong> for people standing <strong>five feet away.<\/strong><\/li><li>A Good poster length is up to: <strong>1000 words<\/strong>.<\/li><li><strong>Use section headings<\/strong> to orient the viewer.<\/li><li>Use <strong>serif <\/strong>fonts for the main text (ex. Times) and <strong>sans-serif fonts<\/strong> for titles and headings (ex. Helvetica, Arial).<\/li><li>Authors can also use different versions of the ECONOMICON logo in their presentation by accessing the <strong>\u2018ECONOMICON Logo Pack\u2019.<\/strong><strong><br \/><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">&#8212;<\/span><\/strong><\/li><\/ul><p><strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 3. Submission<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>After completing their poster, the corresponding author must submit an<strong> electronic copy<\/strong> of it at the latest <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">by the\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000; text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>15th of May<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/li><li>A <strong>physical copy<\/strong> of the Poster must also be delivered to the Congress for display (at the latest <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">by the <span style=\"color: #ff0000; text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>20th of <\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000; text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>May <\/strong><\/span>if <strong>sent by post<\/strong>)<\/span>.<\/li><li>When arriving at the congress, the physical copy of the poster should be <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">delivered to the congress<strong> Info. Desk<\/strong><\/span>, to be put up for display.<br \/><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">&#8212;<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0 \u00a0 <strong>\u00a0 4.<\/strong> <strong>Presentation <\/strong><\/p><ul><li><strong>Display<\/strong> &#8211; before the start day of each session (or day), all posters will be displayed by the congress team in the designated poster exhibition area. Authors can see at what time slot (day and session) their poster presentation is scheduled by checking the congress poster program. <br \/><em>&#8211; To avoid damaging the posters, we ask that presenters do not place their posters up themselves and instead let the congress team set them up.<\/em><\/li><li><strong>Evaluation<\/strong> &#8211; each poster will be evaluated by a specially formed congress evaluation committee, which will grade the quality of the posters by examining the information presented, the dimensions required, and the overall aesthetic presentation value of the poster. <br \/><em>&#8211; The presenter of the poster is encouraged to be present next to their poster when the evaluation is conducted.<\/em><\/li><li><strong>Best Poster Award<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; following the evaluation of all posters, the 3 best posters selected by the congress evaluation committee will be announced by the congress president at the closing ceremony. <br \/><em>&#8211; Each winner will receive a special award for their winning poster.<\/em><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>POSTER PRESENTATION GUIDELINES \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Below, Authors can view the general requirements of an ECONOMICON Poster Presentation Submission: \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 1.
